The fifth and final season of Merlin is currently airing in the UK and the two-part series finale will air at Christmas. Merlin is produced overseas and licensed worldwide.

Either way, season five will be the end for Merlin ( as we know it anyway).Īs suspected, the fifth season of Merlin will be the TV show’s last. UPDATE: There’s some indication that the show may actually have been cancelled as the producers had been negotiating the possibility of a sixth season and/or movies.
